Spa Protect Empire is a fast-dissolving, multi-functional bromine-based spa sanitizer designed to deliver reliable disinfection and oxidation performance for hot tubs and spas. It dissolves quickly in water without residue, maintaining consistent bromine residuals to effectively control bacteria and keep water clean, clear, and properly balanced. In addition to routine sanitation, Empire Easy Brome also acts as a powerful oxidizing agent, breaking down organic contaminants such as body oils, perspiration, and cosmetics that contribute to cloudy water, odours, and foam. It can also be used to establish a bromine reserve (“bromine bank”) for improved ongoing sanitation stability.

Application Method

Add Spa Protect Empire directly into spa water with the circulation system running and no bathers present.

Instructions

Maintain recommended water balance levels as determined by regular testing.
→ Free Available Bromine: 3.0 – 5.0 ppm
→ pH: 7.2 – 7.8
→ Total Alkalinity: 100 – 120 ppm
→ Calcium Hardness: 150 – 200 ppm

Ensure filtration system is operating properly for effective sanitation.

Add product according to dosage guidelines below with circulation running.
Test bromine levels and repeat dosing every 15–20 minutes until a residual of 3.0 – 5.0 ppm is achieved.

For periodic oxidation after heavy use or weekly maintenance, apply higher dosage as required.
Do not use spa until bromine levels drop to 5.0 ppm or lower.

For cloudy, foamy, or odorous water conditions, apply superoxidation dose.
Maintain circulation for at least 30 minutes and wait 4 hours before spa use.

Maintain stabilizer (cyanuric acid) levels between 30–100 ppm through periodic dilution with fresh water as required.
Drain spa periodically for proper sanitation and long-term water quality management.

Recommended Levels

Test bromine levels daily to ensure proper sanitation.
Maintain a consistent bromine residual of 3 – 5 ppm for safe and effective spa operation.
