Start the filter, let run for 5 seconds and then stop the filter.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf the filter is located far from the skimmer, pour the contents of the bottle directly into the pump basket, close the lid and run the pump until the colored liquid is gone and the water is clear.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLet soak for 8 hours.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAfter 8 hours, change the filter position to “Backwash”, start the pump and let it run for 2 to 5 minutes.
